The Braves are going to be an interesting team to watch this season. This is because they lost the National League East last season for the first time in like a gazillion million years. But they will bounce back with a vengeance this season. Just watch.
The Braves always find a way to win games and we can assure you that they will play great this season. We guarantee that with a great deal of confidence because of the following factors: their young hitters are one year older and have more maturity. Their pitching staff will bounceback from last season which happened to be the first season without their pitching coach. You will begin to see the brilliance of Bobby Cox and how important he really is and was for these Atlanta Braves. Not to take anything away from Leo Mazzone but Bobby Cox really was a great coach.
In summary, these Braves are going to have a lot of overs this season because they will be having a blast at hitting the ball this season. They will score runs in bunches and really make the sportsbooks wish they could double the totals on Braves games. Pitching wise, they will be better than last year but nowhere near the days of Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux, and Avery. They will be having a mediocre pitching staff that can get tired very easily with having to face the likes of the Mets, Phillies, and Marlins on a consistent basis.
