The Top Three Free Agent Players In The NFL
By
With the free-agent signing period delayed, there is more and more talk
about how the best free-agent player is right now.
There are at least ten or fifteen players that are clearly on the big screen
radar system for owners and coaches. However, there are at least three that are
off the charts. It will all come down to where the players want to play and the
contracts they are offered. Take a look at these amazing players and why they
are tops to get more insight on the issue.
Drew Brees
Brees is probably the most unusual free-agent player the league has seen in
years. It is really mind blowing that he is even available. Within his last five
years of being in the NFL, the past two years were the best he has to offer. The
only likely thing that weighed on the minds of the general manager and possibly
the coach of the Chargers was Drew's shoulder injury. Consensus is that whoever
picks this one up with have a legacy on their hands.
Adam Vinatieri
There are clearly a few teams that could use the kicking power of someone like
Vinatieri. As good as he has been with the Patriots, they simply don't pay the
man enough. Teams like Green Bay will likely be looking to pick up a confident
kicker for their restructuring. Good thing for Vinatieri; he'll likely pick up
more cash as well.
Antwaan Randle El
When Reggie Wayne resigned with the Colts, Randle El became the number one
free-agent receiver on the market. He is an overall player with skills in many
areas. He's youth can be deterring, but he will mature like all players do.
Experts expect he will have a lot of interest from the Bears, Cardinals, Eagles,
Broncos, and the Patriots.
