The Summer Of Trades

The Summer Of Trades
This summer expect to see a number of trades taking place as teams try to fill their rosters for the upcoming season. This is the time that players whose contracts are near completion or whose coaches believe they would be better off somewhere else, negotiate with other teams to trade players. While none of this behavior should be taken seriously, players have to feel betrayed to a certain extent. Being traded to another team especially if they have had a bad season could harm a players confidence.
The latest player who may be traded is Allen Iverson. The Sixers have been trying to find a new team for him. Trading players has become a way of life for franchises that want to improve their rosters by adding or subtracting players. There are many teams that would want Iverson, so he should be placed with a new team soon or he will just stay with the Sixers.
Trading players is sometimes the only way a team can improve itself. Coaches and owners are the ones who will make the final decisions. Before next season, there may be many more trades that will have taken place. It is important to remember that in most professional sports since players are receiving a lot of money, if they do not deliver, then they will be traded to another team if possible. This can put a lot of pressure and strain on a player and cause them to not perform to the best of their abilities.
