Shaq Shows That He Is Still A Formidable Player

Shaquille O’Neal showed that he can still dominate the game of basketball, even with his age. According to Miami coach Pat Riley, most players think that O’Neal cannot play anymore and that is the reason why teams guard him one on one. But the teams realize they are making a mistake if O’Neal gets his rhythm going.
That is what Washington Wizards recently learned. O’Neal scored all the 12 points for the Heat in a span of 13 minutes late in the third quarter and the fourth.
O’Neal has just returned from a knee injuring after missing 39 games and he said that he was gradually getting back into form.
O'Neal helped Miami improve to 2-2 without Dwyane Wade, who was scheduled to get a second opinion on his dislocated left shoulder.
In the game against the Wizards, O’Neal showed that he still had plenty left in him to give teams a run for their money. He is going to be 35 years old and Wade has replace him as the top offensive player in the team and this could explain why teams now give him less respect than what he had received earlier.
The Wizards had decided to play O’Neal with just one player and they must have rued their decision because O’Neal ended up using a mix of moves to completely overwhelm the player.
According to Miami forward, Udonis Haslem, though O’Neal like to be guarded one on one, he gets insulted by it because he feels that teams feel that he is not as dangerous as before. The game against the Wizards proved otherwise.
