NFL Totals Betting System
By Michael Williams (7/26/2006)
Two very simple yet effective betting systems for
betting the totals in football games are presented here with analysis as to why
they work. Plus some tips.
Bet the overs in football games when a football team is playing at home for its
third consecutive game. This system works so well for a few reasons that we list
here.
First, defense is about toughness and there is nothing tough about staying at
home with mommy getting your home cooked meal every day. Travelling and playing
on the road are essential to keep your defense on its toes and playing with the
proper level of intensity necessary for football. Second, staying at home allows
your offense to gel. You become accustomed to your turf and your fans. Play
calling stays the same and your execution becomes pristine.
Bet the unders when it is snowing. It is hard to see the ball and there is a
great risk of injury in snow games. Team struggle to get any type of offensive
game together. Therefore, teams will focus on running the ball and defense. Thus
producing an inexorbitant number of Unders. We have seen totals in the high 20s
range during snow games and still saw the game go under the total.
Focus on betting Overs during interconference games. Since these two teams do
not know each other, the tenaciousness on defense does not exist as it would in
division rivalry games. Thus bringing up our second tip to focus on the Unders
during rivalry games.
