Football - NFC North

The NFC North is one of the most overlooked divisions in the NFL. This division does not have one great team, or a bunch of great players. But when it comes down to it, the NFC North teams may be able to make some noise during the 2006 season. The fact of the matter is that the four teams that compete in the NFC North are better than what most people give them credit for.

Again this season the Chicago Bears are the favorite to come out on top. They will have one of the best defenses in the league once again, and if they can find the end zone on offense they should be a legitimate contender for the Super Bowl. To go along with the Bears there are three other teams in the NFC North. They are the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions. All three of these teams are also looking for a way to sneak back into the playoffs. 

Even though the media often times looks over the NFC North, the teams that compete in this division are more than capable of doing some big things during the 2006 season. The Bears may be favored to win the division title, but they will have the other three teams pushing them the entire season. 
Other teams in the NFL should watch out for the NFC North. The teams in this division may not get a lot of media attention or respect, but when it comes down to it they can win games.
