New Orleans Saints Preview
The New Orleans Saints take on the Green Bay Packers in week two of the NFL regular season, and the odds are looking great for the Saints. The Packers are always a fan favorite; however they have struggled in the past few years to even bring home a few wins.
The problem with the whole thing is that New Orleans hasn’t won against the Packers in the last seven games in Green Bay. Is it a curse? Who knows, but the truth is that this year’s New Orleans Saints team is well equipped to break that curse. The last time the teams met, the Saints were delivered what might have been their most embarrassing loss of all time. Green Bay scored an unanswered 52 points, with the Saints only getting a lousy 3 points for the entire four quarters.
So, the big question is whether or not the New Orleans Saints can get over the past and move forward with the future. Most experts are guessing that week two against the Green Bay Packers is one that will allow them to redeem themselves and clear their bad blood once and for all.
At least Reggie Bush is hoping for perfection. He had a great showing in week one against the Cleveland Browns. Although he is a rookie, Brown is showing a great deal of promise for the New Orleans Saints. He just might be what the team needs to pull themselves together and create a successful winning season. Only time will tell!
