New Orleans Saints 2006 Free Agency Highlights
The New Orleans Saints were jumping for joy after the first regular season week in the NFL. They played against the Cleveland Browns and brought home a victory for their team, their coach, and their fans everywhere.
Most of the experts are focusing on rookie Reggie Bush and his performance against the Cleveland Browns. When reporters asked Reggie Bush to rate his performance, he only gave it a grade “B” because he didn’t make it into the end zone. However, most people watching would have easily passed this player with a bona fide “A”.
The only place where Reggie Bush seemed to struggle was with punt returns. This is something that his coach, Payton, noticed right away and commented on. So, chances are that Bush has taken the entire week after the game to work on that area of his game.
The interesting thing is that Coach Payton is not as excited as you would think a coach would be after his big win. Instead, he is as focused as ever on their next game. He is ready to prepare for their game against Green Bay. Anyone who follows the two teams knows that the New Orleans Saints have lost to Green Bay more than a few times in the past few years. In fact, they are on a long losing streak against Green Bay.
However, it should be stated that the New Orleans Saints looked great against the Cleveland Browns and that they are certainly a team to look out for this season. Who knows what they will do next!
