Bettor bewares though: sometimes teams simply own other teams. A clear example of this is the Dallas Mavericks and the Memphis Grizzlies. To the author’s best recollection, the Mavericks have never lost to the Grizzlies, covering their games approximately 95% of the time. In this scenario, it would not be wise to back the Grizzlies in their fourth game of the season against the Mavs, because simply, the Grizz suck.

This angle, when combined with other confounding angles will create an especially strong play. Other factors to consider that may be in conjunction with this angle are playoff positioning, back-to-back games, et cetera. When other angles combine in one play, such a play can be a monstrous one. At season’s end, especially the NBA season, a plethora of plays open up for the sports bettor.

A lot of money can be made if the right situations align and the savvy sports bettor is able to identify and isolate them and play them accordingly.
