NBA Daily Roundup Tuesday 2-14-2006

Tuesday (2/14)
Best: Lakers @ Kings: The #6-11 seeds in the West have a difference of
just 5 games, and right in the middle of it are the Lakers and Kings. While this
"rivalry" is no longer a marquee matchup it has just as much significance as the
old days. Bibby needs to continue his clutch play against the Lakers for them to
win. Predicted Score: Sacramento wins 103-100
Runner-up: Cavaliers @ Mavericks: Two of the NBA's most jaw-dropping players are
Nowitzki and LeBron. The difference between their teams is that the Mavs are the
League's best road team. James has to be able to drive to the hoop in the final
seconds, regardless of an open teammate. He has to realize that as a star he
will get the benefit of the doubt. Predicted Score: Dallas wins 106-101
Blowout: Jazz @ Heat: Perhaps basketball's most vapid offensive team faces the
Heat. The only way Utah can win is if big points come from the PG and SG spot.
But those positions happen to be their two weakest points and will hurt them.
Unless Williams or McLeod hits 20 a win is impossible.
Predicted Score: Miami wins 97-84
