Marcus Vicks Faith Hangs By A String

By Michael Williams (2/9/2007)

A 17 year old girl has claimed that she had nearly a two year sexual relationship with Marcus Vick, the Miami Dolphins rookie. She has filed a lawsuit against Vick, accusing him of sexual battery upon a minor, fraud and other charges. The lawsuit was filed in December 2006 in Montgomery County Circuit Court and states that girl was a 15 year old honor student at Christiansburg High School when she first started having sex with Vick who was then a quarterback at Virginia Tech.

The lawsuit also states the Vick wanted her to have sex with other men and that Vick offered her alcohol and marijuana many times. The plaintiff is the girl’s grandmother. The girl has been identified only as Jane Doe.
Marcus Vick is the younger brother of Michael Vick, Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback.
Jane Doe also accuses Vick of fraud. She says that Vick told her that he loved her, wanted her to have his child and that having sexual relationship with someone her age was completely acceptable.
In 2004, Vick and two of his former teammates at Virginia Tech were convicted on three counts of contributing to delinquency of a minor for giving three underage girls liquor and encouraging them to strip. At that point, Vick had confessed to having consensual sex with one of the girls.
Jane Doe has identified herself as the girl with whom Vick had sex.
After his arrest and conviction, Vick was suspended from the team but was kicked out of the team due to his on and off the field behavior. He entered the NFL draft in spring 2006 but was not selected. Ultimately, Miami Dolphins signed him up as a free agent.
Outcome of the lawsuit is awaited and Vick must be keeping his finger crossed this time round.
