Make money without betting
By Kris Lazaro (2/26/2007)
Sports betting is like a marathon. It is not a sprint. Therefore it is not necessary to bet on every single game on the board. A sports gambler can make money even if one does not place a bet. The reader may ask “how”, but as this article will show, simply watching a game will instill knowledge in the sports gambler, if the viewer knows what to look for.
Some key things to look at when watching a game:
Look at how the coach uses his bench. Does he rest his starters after his team has secured the victory (thus potentially allowing a backdoor cover). Or, does he grind it out and punish the other team.
In football, how does the offensive line and defensive line work together. Do they work as individuals or as a unit. Watching this detail will ensure plenty of profits in the future games.
Analyze how the players feel. Are they keeping their heads up even though they are loosing; in fact, does the team simply give up after they are down, or do they fight until the end.
In baseball, follow how long the manager keeps his pitchers in the game. Does he yank them out at the first signs of trouble, or does he let them work it out? Is he confident in his bullpen.'
Questions like these will help the successful sports gambler in the future, even if one does not place a bet. Lastly, do not fret if you are not able to bet on a game. There will be tons of games in the future. As the author has come to realize, sports betting has no off season. There will always be betting opportunities in the future—so do not fret.
In summary, by simply watching a game, one may be able to make money by using such knowledge in the future.
