In the second quarter, the Bulls raised their game up a few notches and scored at will with a 15-6 burst, thanks to Heinrich. At halftime, the Bulls were leading 45-28.
The second half saw Blazer regrouped themselves and they tried matched the Bulls at every stage. The main scorer for the Blazers was Zach Randolph, who scored 27 points. Other players who contributed for Blazers were Brandon Roy and Jarrett Jack, scoring 16 points each.
In the last minute, the score was tied at 80 a piece, but a concerted effort from Gordon and Duhon ensured that the Bulls were the eventual winners. They kept calm and controlled their nerves which resulted in them successfully in converting free throws into points.
