Giants Hope For More Wins
The San Francisco Giants beat the San Diego Padres in a four game sweep that may help the Giants regain their former glory. The Giants, who were not winning many games this season, are hoping for a come back. With an overall average of just six games out of twenty-two, this victory puts the Giants in six and a half places behind the Los Angeles Dodgers. The San Diego Padres have fallen further behind in the ranks.
Some teams do not perform as well in the beginning of a season. This is due to many reasons, but the best way to overcome it is to play as a team and to try to visualize winning the game. Having a positive attitude when going into a game will also help. The San Francisco Giants have some good players on their team including Ray Durham, Eliezer Alfonzo, and Matt Cain. These players gave it their best shot and played very well against the Padres.
Successful players who are dedicated to the game and their team will result in more wins for the team. Overall, the Giants are still behind and have some catching up to do before the season is through. But they may be able to pull themselves up a bit more if they keep winning more games. Playing as a team, practicing, and avoiding injury are ways teams will improve their overall average. It is important to remember that after the season is over, there will always be next season.
