AFC South

AFC South
When you think of the AFC South what team immediately comes to mind? If you are like most people the answer to this question is the Indianapolis Colts. Year in and year out the Colts are at the top of the league when playoff time comes around. But up to this point they have not yet been able to capitalize and come up with a Super Bowl title. But in 2006 the Colts will again be in great position to make it to the biggest game of the year. They will have to contend with three other teams in the AFC South along the way.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, and Houston Texans will all be trying to catch the Colts in the AFC South. It appears that the team with the best chance of dethroning the Colts is the Jaguars. They have the experience on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball to be successful in 2006. The best chance they have for upending the Colts is to actually beat them when they play head to head during the season. This will allow them to pick up ground, or pull away if they are in position.
The AFC South may belong to the Colts for the time being, but there are three other teams in the division that may have something to say about this in 2006. Fans should have a great time watching the race for the AFC South title unwind. It should be an interesting one!
